AVSL: The Association of Vision Science Librarians (AVSL) has free online materials from around the web to help you with publications and information resources.  

 

Grammarly: Grammarly is a free writing assistance software (with subscription upgrade) that uses AI to help users clean up their writing. While not the best fit for academic writing, it is great for basic writing needs.

 

Health Misinformation (US Surgeon General)Resources from the Surgeon General about fighting health misinformation. Community toolkits are available towards the bottom of the page in English and Spanish.

 

University of Tennessee Martin LibGuide: The University of Tennessee Martin's Paul Meek Library has some useful videos about evaluating information and read scholarly articles in their LibGuides.

 

Madison College LibGuide: Madison College Libraries in Wisconsin has a great LibGuide on Information Literacy that breaks down what information literacy is, evaluating sources, and more.
